Have you figured out your Spring Break Plans? Check out these two fun camp options.

Spring Break Camps
Alice in Wonderland Theater Camp (ages 7 - 13)
5 day camp
Date: April 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Performances: 11:00 & 2:00 on Friday, April 30th
Instructors: Darla Breckenridge & Diana Cilenti
Cost: $300
This camp will allow aspiring actors to experience a classic children's theater production. Each actor will have several speaking lines. Camp participants will help create parts of the costumes and props as well as participate in set design. There will be theater games and art projects related to the camp theme. We perform before parents, family and friends on Friday. REGISTER NOW

Monster Madness (ages 6 - 12)
5 day camp
Date: April 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Reception: 3:00 on Friday, April 30th
Instructor: Wylie Garcia
Cost $300
Explore the legends of imaginary monsters and mythical creatures. Learn to draw, paint and sculpt monsters inspired by world-renown creatures, or make up your own original monsters. Monsters can be silly or scary, large or small. Write a story or create a cartoon that features your monster. Use artists' pencils, acrylic paints, colored pencils, paper mache, fabric and found objects. Join us for a fun filled adventure. REGISTER NOW

Adult/ Teen 1 Day Workshops
Create Your Own Designer Jeans
Date: Sunday, April 18th
Time: 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Instructor: Claudia Venon
Cost: $75
Learn to embellish jeans by focusing on applique, stitching, sewing and printing techniques to create a one of a kind pair of designer jeans! Bring in the jeans in your life that need a little lift. We will provide all other necessary materials. Note: We will take a brief dinner break so feel free to bring along a snack or bag supper. (Microwave available.) REGISTER NOW

Drop-in to a Davis Studio Class during Spring Semester
We have room for Drop-in Students for the following classes:

4. Kids: Get Fired Up (Dynamic Ceramics)

The Drop in fee is $30 per class. Please bring check or cash with you the day of the class. We recommend you call or e-mail ahead (802-425-2700, info@davisstudiovt.com) to ensure we have space.

ADULT/TEEN AVAILABLE DROP-IN CLASSES
Clay Studio (Dynamic Ceramics)
7 week class
Date: Mondays, April, 5, 12, 19 (Skip 26), May 3, 10, 17
Time: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Pick up date held after clay is fired - to be announced.
Instructor: Jen Labie
Cost: $30
Explore the exciting possibilities of sculpting with clay. You will learn the fundamentals of hand building with clay, such as slab building and pinch pots. Learn how to use textures and carving techniques to enhance your original pieces. You will make beautiful and functional pieces such as a tray/platter or a one of a kind plate or bowl. You will learn how to glaze your pieces which will then be fired in a kiln. Each piece will be your own unique design and creation. Seven week class, completed work to be picked up at a later date after fired.

Individualized Art
Ages 12 - 18
6 week class
Time: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Date: Saturdays, April 10, 17, 24, (Skip May 1), May 8, 15, 22
Instructor: Diana Cilenti
Cost: $30
If you are passionate about exploring your art in depth, this class will provide you with studio time and support. You will focus on a particular category of art of your choice, select your materials, and produce several quality pieces. You'll write an artist's statement and have the opportunity to show your work in Davis Studio or another public venue. Six week class. No reception but you are invited to display work at the Art Hop in September.


KIDS AVAILABLE DROP-IN CLASSES
Get Fired Up (Dynamic Ceramics)
ages 7 - 14
7 week class
Date: Mondays, April 5, 12, 19, (skip 26), May 3, 10, 17, 24
Time: 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Instructor: Jen Labie
Cost: $30
Pick up date held after clay is fired - to be announced.
Explore the exciting possibilities of working with clay. You will learn the basics of hand building and will make several cool and useful projects such as an animal shaped pinch pot, and an original slab-built plate, bowl, mug or tray. Your pieces will be glazed and fired in a kiln. Each piece will be your own unique design and creation. Seven week class, pieces to be picked up at a later date after fired.


Fashion Improv (Project "Fun-Way")
ages 10 - 14
6 week Class
Dates: April 5, 12, 19, (skip 26), May 3, 10, 17
Time: 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Reception: May 17th at 5:30 p.m.

Cost: $30
Are you a fan of fashion reality t.v.? Would you like to be surprised each week with a fashion challenge? Join us for this innovative fashion and sewing class. You will be given a different assignment each week and have the 2 hour class to complete it to the best of your ability. You'll learn many fun techniques, and work with unique materials. Have a blast creating in a supportive atmosphere without the reality t.v. drama. You'll be amazed at what you can create. No eliminations as there are only winners in this exciting class.
