Our class learned Chinese and Japanese brush painting techniques. We created our own paintings of Bamboo, Chrysanthemums, Landscapes, Pandas, and Dancers.

The Aliens, Robots, and Monsters Class, drew, painted, and sculpted their imaginative creations. They also made books featuring detailed drawings.

These three photos feature one student's work in the "Make Friends with your Sewing Machine Class." Not only did students get a thorough sewing machine overview but they put their knowledge to immediate use by creating several projects including, a tote bag, a wallet purse with a zipper, a stuffed animal and a personalized t-shirt.

The acrylic painting students painted on both paper and canvas using brushes, sponges, and palette knives. Students painted any subject of their choosing, including portraits, landscapes, flowers, animals, and much more. Each student presented his or her work at our reception at the conclusion of the class.

Homeschool students participated in the Mapping the World through Art Class. Our theme this semester was Asia. Each participant created a hand drawn and painted map of an area in Asia. We also learned to do Chinese and Japanese brush painting. At our reception we ate marvelous food ranging from Indian to Japanese & Chinese to Middle Eastern. Then we played music, sang and danced with our guest Kelly Becker.
